Passenger occupancy system
Automatic passenger counting sensors with data visualizing software
We can additionally equip your vehicles with sensors for automatic passenger counting from the German company iris-GmbH, along with data handling. The sensors work on the ToF (Time-of-Flight) principle, which is a method for measuring the distance between an object and a light-sensitive sensor. This system is known for its reliability and precision of measurements. However, the data itself is only half the success. Once integrated with our system, their value gains importance as passenger number data is correlated with information on past rides, location (stops), line, transport task, trip, and punctuality.
Precise
Using sensors from a reputable manufacturer, we can acquire highly precise data (with 99% accuracy) regarding passenger ingress and egress at vehicle stops, feeding directly into the system. After applying this data to the character of a communication network, taking into account all the nuances resulting from it, we obtain precise data on passenger numbers travelling by public communication vehicles.
Transparent
We strive to visualise the available data in a manner that ensures swift and effortless access to information regarding passenger movement. Charts and tabulations are prepared to allow users to quickly assess the attractiveness of the analysed communication line. It is also easy to access information on undesirable occurrences such as exceeded passenger occupancy. Access to archival data makes it possible to analyse the repeatability of observed phenomena in a given period oftime. We utilise statistical analytics tools to compile andpresent our observations in informative reports.
A convenient tool for optimising
your transportation services
Analysing vehicle occupancy is a critical factor that informs decisions regarding timetable adjustments during modifications of transportation services. By utilising our module, you'll gain a deeper understanding of your passengers' needs, enabling you to tailor your transportation network to better meet the real requirements of residents.
